The Data
Tested, not just tumbled.
Independent lab results for Aurella and Vega, our in-stock colorways, for anyone specifying, quoting, or just curious what's actually in the stone.

Testing performed to EN and ASTM international standards. Figures reflect the specific seams these pallets are cut from; natural stone varies piece to piece, the same character we build the whole collection around.
How To Care For It
Care & Maintenance
The same regimen applies to both Aurella and Vega. We use FILA's surface care system throughout, real products, in the order that actually works, though any comparable stone-care product will do the job just as well.
-
01
Before installation
Seal the back and sides of every piece with FILA PW10 before it goes down. This keeps minerals and moisture from wicking up through the stone from below, the most common cause of staining that has nothing to do with how the surface is cared for afterward. Apply to a dry, clean back and sides, let dry 24 hours, and never apply it to the face of the stone.
-
02
First clean after grouting
Wash the surface with FILA PS87 diluted 1:5 to clear construction residue, then rinse clean.
-
03
Seal it
Protect the surface with one of two FILA sealers. MP90 ECO PLUS is water-based and keeps the natural matte finish. FOB is solvent-based with stronger stain resistance. Two coats, roughly 8 hours apart. Test a small area first, and note that neither protects against acid etching.
-
04
Routine care
For everyday cleaning, FILA STONECLEAN diluted 1:200, wipe and go, no rinsing needed. For heavier dirt, a stronger dilution (1:30) works, or PS87 diluted 1:10 for organic buildup like grease or algae.
-
05
Stubborn stains
Oil: FILANOSPOT. Surface rust: FILA NO RUST. Organic coloured staining: FILASR95. Silicone, wax or glue: FILAZERO SIL. Blot spills immediately, the faster you catch it, the easier it lifts.
-
06
Around pools
Pool water, chemicals and constant moisture wear protective coatings faster than anywhere else. Reapply FOB about once a year, degreasing first with PS87. Natural stone near a pool will always need more attention than stone indoors, that's the nature of the material, not a flaw in it.
These are the products we use and trust, not a requirement. An equivalent product from another brand will generally work the same way. Always test any product on a small, inconspicuous area first, and for anything beyond ordinary maintenance, FILA's own technical support can advise directly.
